Day 4 - Final day of racing - there is good breeze today.  The PRO has chose to sail two races today.  With the split fleets, Steph and Laura will not compete head to head with second place Padnos/Spector.  Padnos competed in the first flight, winning the race.  Hudson/McKenna finish 7th in their flight.  In the final rotation, Hudson sails first and finishes 6th.  This cliches the title for the girls.  Padnos finishes 4th in his flight, setting the margin of victory at four points after 14 races.

Day 3 -  The sailors completed five races today.  It was a strong one for Hudson/McKenna who sailed to finishes of 6, 2, 2, 1, & 1.  One day remains, but the girls hold a strong lead.  Only question that remains is how many races will be sailed on the final day.

Day 2 - Due to local storms, half the fleet has completed nine races while the other half has completed just eight. Winds were light and variable today as were the scores of many participants. Thus far, Midwest sailors are doing very well. After eight races, Stephanie and Laura have moved up to 1st place. Adjusted to reflect a throw out race, Derek Packard is presently 4th followed by Erik Bowers 6th, Louis Padnos 8th, Morgan Kiss 12th, and Mike Hanson 15th. For standings click here

Day 1 - The girls are presently in second place after four races in the 83 boat fleet. Their first day finishes include 1, 10, 3, & 2 in conditions described by Stephanie as variable from windy, shifty, and wet in the morning to light, shifty, and hot.
