The Geneva Lake Sailing School hosted its annual dinghyfest regatta from July 12 to 14.  Unfortunately for the X Class, winds were very light resulting in just two races sailed - one on Monday and another on Tuesday. Winds for the dinghies were much more accommodating at 10 knots from the south.  Beulah's David Porter was the PRO for the X Class while Geneva Hall of Famer, Jane Pegel, managed the dinghy courses.

In the X Fleet, Beulah's Kate Klement and Teresa Westin were Beulah's top finishers in 9th place in the 54 boat fleet.  Results

In the Laser Radial class, Mary Claire Kiernan took first place followed by her brother George and cousin Michael Barr.  Cullen Barr finished fifth.  Seven boats competed.  Results

On the Optimist course, Beulah entered nine sailors in the Championship Fleet and two in the Green Fleet.  Top RWB finishers were John Barr and Alec Bischoff in 8th and 9th, respectively.  Also finishing strongly in the 54 boat fleet were Patrick Schmidt and Alex Keck in 12th and 13th overall.  Four races were completed.  Championship Results

Annie Kate Schmidt and Jacqueline Komas competed in the 24 boat Green Fleet. Annie Kate raced to four top ten finishes out of five completed races to finish ninth overall.  Jacqueline finished right behind her in tenth.  Great showing for our newest racers! Green Fleet Results
