Cloudy skies welcomed the sailors to the Lake Beulah Yacht Club for the 2011 LBSS Opti Regatta. Hosted by the Lake Beulah Sailing School, the sailors and coaches prepared their boats for both Championship and Green Fleet courses. The Lake Beulah Sailing School invites Optimist skippers to compete in the 19th Annual LBSS Optimist Regatta on Monday, June 27, 2011. The regatta offers two race courses, one for "Red White and Blue" sailors in a Championship Fleet and a separate one for Green Fleet skippers. Registration fees are $50 per sailor for entries postmarked by June 22. A $15 late fee exists for entries postmarked and submitted after June 22.

The Lake Beulah Sailing School (LBSS) hosted the 18th annual Beulah Optimist Regatta on June 28, 2010. Under clear blue skies and warm temperatures, fifty two skippers took to the water to compete in either the Championship or Green Fleet. Pewaukee's Augie Dale took first place honors in the Championship Fleet of 35 entries. On the Green Fleet course, Taitan Workman finished first over 18 competitors.
